“ If you visit Espinho you MUST visit Canastra Restaurant and bar. Its slightly hidden location is in the north of Espinho and it’s worth the walk. We were welcomed immediately by the owners son Dinis. The service was impeccable. The menu offers an amazing choice of meat and fish dishes. Their sliced Iberico ham and homemade sangria were perfect starters for our dinner. I had the roast beef with straw potato fries and spinach. I have never tasted such a tender piece of meat in my life. For dessert we had his grandmothers passion fruit cake. It was to die for!!!! We are definitely going back again before we leave Portugal. ”
